In addition to the classification by the IUBMB into four cytochrome classes, several additional classifications such as <a href="page.php?w=Cytochrome_c_oxidase">cytochrome o</a> and <a href="page.php?w=cytochrome_P450">cytochrome P450</a> can be found in biochemical literature.</p>
