The <a href="page.php?w=Antarctic">Antarctic</a> is usually defined simply as south of <a href="page.php?w=60th_parallel_south">60° south</a> latitude, or the continent of Antarctica. The 1959 <a href="page.php?w=Antarctic_Treaty_System">Antarctic Treaty</a> uses the former definition.</p>
