<p><big> Structure </big></p>
<p>RuO4 forms two crystal structures, one with <a href="page.php?w=Cubic_crystal_system">cubic</a> symmetry and another with <a href="page.php?w=Monoclinic_crystal_system">monoclinic</a> symmetry, isotypic to OsO4. The molecule adopts a <a href="page.php?w=tetrahedral_molecular_geometry">tetrahedral</a> geometry, with the Ru-O distances ranging from 169 to 170 pm.</p>
