<p>(oratio enunciativa), not the meaning of an assertion, as in <a href="page.php?w=modern_philosophy">modern philosophy</a> of <a href="page.php?w=Philosophy_of_language">language</a> and <a href="page.php?w=Philosophical_logic">logic</a>. A <a href="page.php?w=categorical_proposition">categorical proposition</a> is a simple proposition containing two terms, subject  and predicate , in which the predicate is either asserted or denied of the subject.</p>
