<p>The water caused the records to shrink in diameter so that they could be removed. The records were then trimmed, dried and cleaned, then later put on warm mandrels for 2 hours where they shrank evenly. Jonas Aylsworth developed this formula.</p>

<p>In 1908, Edison introduced <a href="page.php?w=Blue_Amberol_Records">Amberol Records</a> which had a playing time of just over 4 minutes.
