<p><big>2017 interstellar meteor</big></p>
<p>CNEOS 2017-03-09, a meteor with a mass of roughly 6.3 tons, burned up in the Earth's atmosphere on 9 March 2017. It had a high mechanical strength, leading to it being suggested as candidate by the same team proposing an interstellar origin for CNEOS 2014-01-08.</p>
