Miniature breeds of Beagle-type dogs were known from the times of <a href="page.php?w=Edward_II">Edward II</a> and <a href="page.php?w=Henry_VII_of_England">Henry VII</a>, who both had packs of Glove Beagles, so named since they were small enough to fit on a glove, and <a href="page.php?w=Elizabeth_I_of_England">Queen Elizabeth I</a></p><p>
