<p>Theta roles identify the meaning relation between the constituent and the selected predicate (SKS, 2015). There are eight theta roles: <small>AGENT</small>, <small>THEME</small>, <small>CAUSE</small>, <small>POSSESSOR</small>, <small>LOCATION</small>, <small>GOAL</small>, <small>EXPERIENCER</small>, and <small>BENEFICIARY</small>.</p><p>
