They are the only National League team besides the 1907 and 1908 Chicago Cubs, the 1921 and 1922 New York Giants, and the 2024 and 2025 Los Angeles Dodgers to win back-to-back World Championships. The 2010-2014 San Francisco Giants did win three World Championships in five years, at least sparking the debate of whether they could be considered a National League dynasty, but they did not reach the postseason in consecutive years during this span.
