The Central Asian red deer was considered its own species (including the Yarkand deer, Kashmir stag and Bactrian deer as subspecies) by the IUCN in 2017, and by the <a href="page.php?w=American_Society_of_Mammalogists">American Society of Mammalogists</a></p><p>
