<p>Hares, like all <a href="page.php?w=leporid">leporid</a>s, have jointed, or <a href="page.php?w=Cranial_kinesis">kinetic</a>, skulls. This jointing allows for the skull to deform and better absorb the <a href="page.php?w=kinetic_energy">kinetic energy</a> imparted by running.</p><p>
