<p>The Highest Alemannic dialects are considered to be the most conservative dialects of German. The dialect of the <a href="page.php?w=L%C3%B6tschental">Lötschental</a>, for instance, preserved the three distinct classes of <a href="page.php?w=Germanic_weak_verb">weak verbs</a> (as in <a href="page.php?w=Old_High_German">Old High German</a>)</p><p>
