<p>The first four are known as <a href="page.php?w=higher_criticism">higher criticism</a>; the fifth, <a href="page.php?w=lower_criticism">lower criticism</a>; and, together, external criticism. The sixth and final inquiry about a source is called internal criticism. Together, this inquiry is known as source criticism.</p><p>
