It dates from 35,000 BCE and consists of 29 distinct notches that were deliberately cut into a <a href="page.php?w=baboon">baboon</a>'s <a href="page.php?w=fibula">fibula</a>. Later record keeping aids throughout the <a href="page.php?w=Fertile_Crescent">Fertile Crescent</a> included calculi (clay spheres, cones, etc.)</p><p>
