Any flower in an inflorescence may be referred to as a <a href="page.php?w=Glossary_of_botanical_terms">floret</a>, especially when the individual flowers are particularly small and borne in a tight cluster, such as in a <a href="page.php?w=pseudanthium">pseudanthium</a>. The <a href="page.php?w=fruit">fruit</a>ing stage of an inflorescence is known as an <a href="page.php?w=infructescence">infructescence</a>.</p><p>
