<p>Parasites of Juga spp. include the bacterium <a href="page.php?w=Neorickettsia_risticii">Neorickettsia risticii</a>, which causes <a href="page.php?w=Potomac_horse_fever">Potomac horse fever</a> along with the associated <a href="page.php?w=trematode">trematode</a> vector. Juga species are also infected with the bacterium <a href="page.php?w=Neorickettsia_helminthoeca">Neorickettsia helminthoeca</a> and its associated fluke, <a href="page.php?w=Nanophyetus_salmincola">Nanophyetus salmincola</a></p><p>
