Other deposits came from wind-blown sand <a href="page.php?w=dune">dune</a>s or from the sediments on the bottoms of shallow lakes that, at various times, occupied the floor of the basin. As Pangea broke apart, <a href="page.php?w=magma">magma</a> rose to the surface through deep fissures</p><p>
