<p><big> Caprimulgidae </big></p>
<p>Traditionally, nightjars have been divided into two subfamilies: the Caprimulginae, or typical nightjars and the Chordeilinae. The Chordeilinae included species with short bills and lack of elongated rictal bristles in the genera <a href="page.php?w=Nyctiprogne">Nyctiprogne</a>, <a href="page.php?w=Lurocalis">Lurocalis</a> and <a href="page.php?w=Chordeiles">Chordeiles</a>.</p><p>
