<p>Mental disorders are detailed in a chapter of the papyrus called the Book of Hearts. Disorders such as <a href="page.php?w=Major_depressive_disorder">depression</a> and <a href="page.php?w=dementia">dementia</a> are covered. The descriptions of these disorders suggest that Egyptians conceived of mental and physical diseases in much the same way.</p>
