<p>from the label's artists. From 1996-1998, Skint released a series of albums, Brassic Beats, also containing songs from the label, but all of the songs were new, therefore not being a <a href="page.php?w=compilation_album">compilation album</a> series.</p>

<p>Skint Records had one UK number one album, <a href="page.php?w=Fatboy_Slim">Fatboy Slim</a>'s <a href="page.php?w=You%27ve_Come_a_Long_Way%2C_Baby">You've Come a Long Way, Baby</a> (1998), and also brought about short-lived "intelligent big beat" pioneered by albums such as REQ's <a href="page.php?w=One_%28REQ_album%29">One</a></p><p>
