Thick coatings are normally porous, so a sealing process is often needed to achieve <a href="page.php?w=corrosion_resistance">corrosion resistance</a>. Anodized aluminium surfaces, for example, are harder than aluminium but have low to moderate wear resistance that can be improved with increasing thickness</p><p>
