For example, if the switch is off 10% of the time, the resulting control signal would be the equivalent of 1&nbsp;V produced with a variable resistor. The PWM method does not require selection of accurate resistance values. It can be applied simultaneously to control signals of multiple lights by connecting their control inputs in parallel.</p>
