and "Deutsche Messe"--such use has decreased in English usage except among Evangelical Catholics and High Church Lutherans though Mass is the normative term used in the Nordic countries. For example, in the Lutheran Church of Finland and Sweden the term Mass ("messu" in Finnish, "mässa" in Swedish) is used. Also, Lutherans have historically used the terms "Gottesdienst"
