edition of Mark uses this word. However, the Textus Receptus has another word, , pampollou, meaning "very many", which is not used elsewhere in the New Testament. Protestant theologian Heinrich Meyer suggests that "??u?????? ... might very easily have been changed into ????? ??????, as ????? was used in Mark so frequently", and therefore ??u?????? is more likely to have been the original word.
