<p>The <a href="page.php?w=Uganda_Agreement_of_1900">Uganda Agreement of 1900</a> solidified the power of the largely Protestant 'Bakungu' client-chiefs, led by Kagwa. London sent only a few officials to administer the country, relying primarily on the 'Bakungu' chiefs.
