The French were slow to adopt the term humour; in French, humeur and humour are still two different words, the former referring to a person's <a href="page.php?w=Mood_%28psychology%29">mood</a> or to the archaic concept of the four <a href="page.php?w=Four_Temperaments">humours</a>.</p><p>
