Polychrome style

During the 2nd century CE the Goths in the area of present-day Ukraine discovered a newfound taste for gold figurines and objects inlaid with precious stones. This style, borrowed from Scythians and Sarmatians, had some Greco-Roman influences, and was also popular with the Huns.
