A retired <a href="page.php?w=Wales">Welsh</a> seaman named William Fender can be heard singing the phrase "rock and roll" when describing a sexual encounter in his performance of the traditional song "<a href="page.php?w=The_Baffled_Knight">The Baffled Knight</a>" to the folklorist <a href="page.php?w=James_Madison_Carpenter">James Madison Carpenter</a></p><p>
