<p><big>Greek</big></p>
<p>The Greek form of Z was a close copy of the <a href="page.php?w=Phoenician_alphabet">Phoenician</a> <a href="page.php?w=Zayin">Zayin</a> (), and the Greek inscriptional form remained in this shape throughout ancient times. The Greeks called it <a href="page.php?w=zeta_%28letter%29">zeta</a>, a new name made in imitation of <a href="page.php?w=eta">eta</a> (?) and <a href="page.php?w=theta">theta</a> (?).</p><p>
