<p><big>Maximum throughput</big></p>
<p>The <a href="page.php?w=asymptotic_bandwidth">asymptotic bandwidth</a> (formally asymptotic throughput) for a network is the measure of maximum throughput for a <a href="page.php?w=greedy_source">greedy source</a>, for example when the message size (the number of packets per second from a source) approaches close to the maximum amount.</p>
