<p><big>Pathogenesis and symptoms</big></p>
<p>The pathology of N. americanus is divided into two stages - larvae and adults. The larvae penetrate the uninfected skin and travel through various organs, including the <a href="page.php?w=respiratory_tract">respiratory tract</a> and <a href="page.php?w=lymph_node">lymph node</a>s.
