The Act required the Company to create approach roads to the bridge, most notably on the Middlesex side to Eaton Street. This has since been renamed: it is now the section of Victoria Street which runs west from Vauxhall Bridge Road to the junction with what is now called Grosvenor Gardens. This gave access to Hyde Park Corner and so to roads to the north.
