The division was approved of by <a href="page.php?w=Joseph_Wright_%28linguist%29">Joseph Wright</a>, the founder of the Yorkshire Dialect Society and the author of the <a href="page.php?w=English_Dialect_Dictionary">English Dialect Dictionary</a>.</p><p>
