In Greek mythology, Aethra or Aithra (, , , or , , ) was a Troezenian princess and the daughter of King Pittheus.

Aethra was the mother of Theseus (his father was King Aegeus of Athens, or in some versions, Poseidon) and of Clymene (by Hippalces).
