<p>They get the name "carder" from their behaviour of scraping hair from leaves such as lamb's ears (<a href="page.php?w=Stachys_byzantina">Stachys byzantina</a>), similar to the way <a href="page.php?w=Carding">textile workers card fibers</a>. They carry this hair bundled</p><p>
