Deer Lake is a town in the western part of the island of Newfoundland in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. Deer Lake is approximately 50 km northeast of Corner Brook.

The town derives its name from Deer Lake and is situated at the outlet of the upper Humber River
