In <a href="page.php?w=Bolivia">Bolivia</a> 33,670 speakers, called the <a href="page.php?w=Ava_Guaran%C3%AD_people">Ava Guaraní people</a> were counted in the year 2000, in the south-central <a href="page.php?w=Parapeti_River">Parapeti River</a> area and in the city of <a href="page.php?w=Tarija%2C_Bolivia">Tarija</a>.</p><p>
