It is a regulatory authority based in <a href="page.php?w=The_Hague">The Hague</a>. It is charged with competition oversight, sector-specific regulation of several sectors, and enforcement of <a href="page.php?w=consumer_protection">consumer protection</a> laws. It enforces Section 24 of the <a href="page.php?w=Dutch_Competition_Act">Dutch Competition Act</a>.</p><p>
