<p><b>Purity</b> (Pali: Vissudhi) is an important concept within much of <a href="page.php?w=Theravada">Theravada</a> and <a href="page.php?w=Mahayana">Mahayana</a> Buddhism, although the implications of the resultant moral purification may be viewed differently in the varying traditions.
