They are not eclipsing, but fluctuations in <a href="page.php?w=apparent_magnitude">apparent magnitude</a> occur due to changes in the amount of light emitting area visible to the observer.  Typical brightness fluctuations do not exceed 0.1 magnitudes.</p>
