<p><b>Supercooling</b>, also known as <b>undercooling</b>, is the process of lowering the temperature of a liquid below its <a href="page.php?w=freezing_point">freezing point</a> without it becoming a solid. Per the established international definition, supercooling means "cooling a substance below the normal freezing point without solidification".
