<p>In <a href="page.php?w=music">music</a>, a <b>triad</b> is a set of three notes (or "<a href="page.php?w=pitch_class">pitch class</a>es") that can be stacked vertically in thirds. Triads are the most common <a href="page.php?w=chord_%28music%29">chord</a>s in Western music.</p>
