<p>A <b>roving</b> is a long and narrow bundle of <a href="page.php?w=fiber">fiber</a>. Rovings are produced during the process of making <a href="page.php?w=Spinning_%28textiles%29">spun</a> yarn from <a href="page.php?w=wool">wool</a> fleece, raw <a href="page.php?w=cotton">cotton</a>, or other fibres.
