<p><b>Space-division multiple access</b> (<b>SDMA</b>), strictly a misnomer, is a technique to enhance the capacity of mobile and WiFi networks that use a base station hub (access point) to serve multiple users. The technique is best named a Multi-User (MU) technique, wherein multiple users in a MU group can simultaneously be supported on forward and reverse links within the same frequency and time resource. MU increases the capacity of wireless networks by the number of users in the MU group.</p>
